779 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria




















779 new cases of COVID19 were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, June 27.
According to the statistics released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Lagos recorded 285 new cases, 68 in Rivers, 60 in FCT, 60 in Edo, 56 in Enugu, 47 in Delta, 42 in Ebonyi, 41 in Oyo, 19 in Kaduna, 18 in Ogun, 16 in Ondo, 12 in Imo, 11 in Sokoto, 9 in Borno, 8 in Nasarawa, 5 in Abia, 5 in Gombe, 5 in Kebbi, 4 in Kano, 3 in Yobe, 3 in Ekiti and 2 in Osun.
Nigeria now has 24, 077 confirmed cases of the viral disease with 558 fatalities.

Burna Boy has won the Best International Act for the second consecutive year, becoming the first Nigerian artiste to win the BET Awards back to back. The Nigerian singer floored Innoss’B (DRC), Sho Madjozi (South Africa), Dave (UK), Stormzy (UK), Ninho (France), and S.Pri Noir (France) to scoop the gong at the first-ever virtual BET Awards which held on Sunday night.
